Off to the pool!
Our first trip to Grant Park Pool was a complete bust. Mary Kathryn, Harrison, Nancy, Becca and Simone set out with high hopes. These were soon dashed by a strange color in the water of the main pool, a mess of rowdy kids (one of whom tried to get me to hand Simone to her in the pool) and finally, a thunderstorm. We hightailed it home and will try again on another day. Still, we got some cute photos. Here is Simone checking out the scene in her "wee-kini" from Aunt Jess and Uncle Robb.

Yes, she is very skeptical, but SO CUTE in the "wee-kini"!! She'll be a fish in no time! I already have pool toys waiting for her arrival in a few weeks!! Think swimmy fish....

She wears green beautifully. What a tiny little belly.
Noo don't give her to one of those kids. She might get water in her eyes, in her mouth, no no no. That comes when she wants to.
Still memories of Scott freezing in the water. I don't think Simone will have a problem with that. Wonder Why?
